2014 In Review: Street

December 23, 2014  •  1 Comment

I'm putting a few year in review blog posts together - starting with Street Photography. There aren't many opportunities to do street photography in Vermont, but whenever I have some time in an urban setting I love to get out and try my hand at it. I mostly "shoot from the hip" and I think that usually the subject is unaware that I have taken their picture. My goal is to capture honest and interesting expressions and I'm on the look out for anything unusual or a scene that seems to tell a story. The images below were taken this year in New York City (September), Boston (March), and Philadelphia (January). Someday I'd like to spend a month just shooting street images in New York.
